Dinshaw Sethna is a retired sculptor, who lives in isolation around the small station of Panchgani. Dinshaw opens his house to a stranger, Cyrus, who accepts his invitation. The tale revolves around the rather dysfunctional Sethna family and swings between Panchgani and an old dilapidated building in Bombay where the other Sethnas live. When Cyrus enters into the family, all the cracks begin to open. Being Cyrus is Saif Ali Khans follow up film to the hugely successful Salaam Namaste, and marks his debut in English cinema.
