Extreme American prepper Brent Sr. hopes the castle he is building will be the ultimate bunker that will protect his family if his greatest fear comes true - an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) that causes the power grid to fail plunging the country (and eventually the world) into chaos. With cameras documenting every step of the process, Brent Sr. is summoning his 3 daughters and 2 sons to finish construction of the only half-completed castle isolated deep in the Carolina mountains and to test their survival skills to find out if they have what it takes to survive the coming apocalypse. But the apocalypse might shy in comparison to this clash of characters as they struggle to survive not only doomsday but also each other and try to fulfill their father`s dream of completing the castle.
