In Japan, in the mountains of Yakushima Island, you must not do bad things, otherwise the gods enchant you. So we make sure that we can coexist. But when a typhoon approaches and winds intensify, men take the deities down to the shelter on their backs. Milieu reveals how the Japanese nestle in the wild, where living beings call to each other. These beings are not only relative, as objects can be, under the gaze of an abstract subject, but they are attentive together because they are inhabited by the existence of a place. These areas are thus filled with a sense that impregnates and enlivens a concrete existence, first in a certain type of atmosphere, and later in an environment that includes all these interrelations.
