THE MAN FROM NOWHERE -ULTRA HD - Ex-special agent Cha Tae-shik's only connection to the world is So-mi, the little girl who lives next door. When her mother steals from a drug trafficking organization, they kidnap her and her daughter. Tae-shik is suddenly drawn back into his old life in a frantic search to save his friend, but now has both the police and underground crime mob on his trail. Scheint inspiriert von "Taken" und "Léon", kommt aber an beide nicht ganz ran und auch nicht an die grossen Kracher des Koreanischen Kinos aus letzter Zeit. Ich denke an "The Chaser" oder "Oldboy". Trotzdem ein gelungener Actionfilm, auch wenn das Drehbuch zum Teil schwächelt.
