Seltsames kleines Genrejuwel, dem spielend der Spagat zwischen Tragik und Komödie gelingt. Rein optisch im Film Noir verankert, balanciert der Film geschickt zwischen sehr schwarzhumorigen Momenten und melancholischen Augenblicken, bleibt dabei stets erfrischend still und bindet auch die zynische ?Weihnachtsstimmung? geschickt in Handlung und Atmosphäre ein. Ein Film, der sicherlich nicht ohne Schwächen ist, insgesamt aber einfach ?sympathisch? wirkt.
