Habe soeben gesehen das es seit etwa einem Jahr auch "Die Hölle ist in mir" auf DVD gibt. In diesem Film gab Steve McQueen sein Filmdebut. Bei den Starangaben fehlt sein Name, die Hauptrolle besetzt Paul Newman.

AUFGEPASST! Steve McQueen's nie wirklich veröffentlichter Film "An Enemy of the People" läuft ab Montag im Zürcher Kino Xenix!!! McQueen sieht man hier in einer für ihn sehr untypischen Rolle. Schade das er nie veröffentlicht wurde. Dank dem amerikanischen Fernsehen habe ich den Film auf Kassette. Für Fans von McQueen ein absolutes Muss.

Habe mich schon lange gewundert wann dieser Klassiker auf deutsch erscheint. Steve McQueen zog es damals vor eine einmalige Gage von etwa $3000 zu nehmen anstatt einer Gewinnbeteiligung am Erfolg. Etwas worüber er sich danach stets ärgerte. The Blob wurde nämlich ein Grosserfolg.
