Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine star in this classic comedy drama co-written and directed by Billy Wilder. Insurance clerk C.C. Baxter (Lemmon) allows his superiors to use his apartment to facilitate their affairs and as a result begins to make his way up in the company.

However, when personnel director Jeff Sheldrake (Fred MacMurray) wants to use the apartment for a rendevouz with Fran Kubelik (MacLaine), an elevator operator to whom Baxter is attracted, the arrangement swiftly begins to unravel and Fran must decide which man she wishes to be with.

leider ist die code2 dvd von ganz mieser qualität. das bildformat ist so arg beschnitten, dass auf allen seiten etwas fehlt, unabhängig davon, in welchem bildformat man sich den film anschauen möchte. sehr bedauerlich, da der film absolut sehenswert wäre.
