Sehe ich immer wieder gerne. Weltall/Raumfahrt ist immer eindrücklich und dieser Film wird wie bei Armageddon mit sogar noch einer etwas grösseren Portion Humor unterlegt, was ihn so hervorragend macht. Natürlich ist es nicht realistisch, dass die alte Garde ins Weltall darf, aber dieser Film legt den Fokus auch auf die Unterhaltung und nicht auf Realitätstreue wie ein Apollo 13 Film.

Hervorragende Schauspieler aus der guten alten Zeit, welche noch immer für flotte Sprüche zu haben sind. James Garner spielt zwar wie immer, aber er hat einfach einen guten Humor. Ist stets lustig ihn zu sehen. Clint Eastwood ist eh gut.Die zweite Hälfte des Filmes ist weniger gut und untenstehende Kritik sicher auch berechtigt. Aber dennoch gute Unterhaltung.

Einmal mehr fragwürdig, weshalb gerade ein russischer Satellit abstürzen muss und kein amerikanscher - und warum dann die Amerikaner wieder die Retter sein müssen. Zwar sind gute Schauspieler dabei, doch das wars dann auch schon.
