Film icon Mickey Rourke (Year of the Dragon) is John Sedley, a petty gangster whose facial deformities earned him the nickname “Johnny Handsome.” When Johnny and a friend are double-crossed during a robbery by two partners, his friend is killed and Johnny is sent to prison. There, a sympathetic surgeon makes a deal to give Johnny a new face—and a new shot at life. Once on the outside, Johnny discovers that staying straight isn’t easy. ... aber tatsächlich danach gings mit walter hill bachab ... mickey rourke: RUMBLE FISH, SPUN, BUFFALO 66, 91/2 WOCHEN, IM JAHR DES DRACHEN ... er hat früher viele gute filme gemacht und wird nächstes jahr in roberto rodruigez comicverfilmung "sin city" ein hervorragendes cameback bieten ...

Mit diesem Film begann der Untergang von Walter Hill.. und auch gleich von Mickey Rourke (obwohl.. spielte dieser ausser in "Angel Heart" noch in anderen guten Filmen?)
