Saki Kubota, a singer-songwriter who burst onto the scene like a comet in 1979, made an instant impact with her debut single 'Ihojin,' which became a million-seller with over 1. 4 million copies sold. Until her retirement in 1984, she released nine singles and seven original albums. This special vinyl release features 12 of her greatest hits, including 'Ihojin,' as well as highly regarded as a city pop classic; 'Alfama no Musume,' recorded in Portugal and infused with the essence of Fado; 'Saishuubin,' a fan-favorite masterpiece; and 'Yoru no Soko wa Yawaraka na Maboroshi (Single Version),' the title track from her self-produced final album. This analog record is a limited-edition pressing on clear red vinyl (transparent red), cut by Japan's renowned engineer Katsutoshi Kitamura. It also features a picture label design.
