A vicious gang commits an explosive theft of an armored vehicle carrying 100 million dollars, killing a number of civilians including a woman in a nearby jewellery shop. The gang then reemerges six months later and critically injures two policemen during a routine spot check. As a result of these events, Detective Chan Chun vows to avenge the death of his fiancee, and Trainee Inspector Fong Yik-wei wants payback for the assault of the police officers who were under his charge.
