Die vielversprechende Story von der Hausfrau und dem erfolgreichsten Rennpferd aller Zeiten musste einfach einmal verfilmt werden. Trotzdem ist mir der Film zu ruhig, zu betulich geraten. Den Rennszenen und dem ganzen Auf und Ab bis zum Durchbruch hätte man mehr Dramatik abgewinnen können. Dennoch ein Muss für Sport- und Pferdefilmfans.
