Italian horror directed by Lamberto Bava. A year after her lover Fred (Roberto Posse) is killed in a car accident, Jane Baker (Bernice Stegers) remains traumatised by his death and moves into a boarding house managed by a blind man named Robert (Stanko Molnar). Curious about her past, he begins to spy on Jane and is soon pulled into her macabre world.

Seinen Vater Mario Bava kann er niemals erreichen! Dies hier war sein erster eigener Horrorstreifen - und sein bester bis heute!

Ich finde fast alle Filme von Lamberto Bava wirklich gut. Dieser hier hat mich jedoch ein wenig enttäuscht. Schade, denn die («kranke») Geschichte von einer Frau, die den abgetrennten Kopf ihres Ex-Liebhabers in einer Gefriertruhe aufbewahrt und auch mal mit ins Bett nimmt... naja... ich ich zumindest finde sie toll. Leider gibt es aber einige recht langweilige Passagen. Für Gore-Fans gibt es übrigens nicht viel zu sehen. Dafür sind die Aufnahmen sowie Filmmusik – wie bei Bava ja fast immer – wirklich gut.
