    Der Sohn von Alice und John Coltrane mit seiner mittlerweile 4.Cd wird mit jedem Album besser.Diese Sessions, im Januar im Avatar-Studio New York aufgenommen bestreitet der Tenor-und Sopran-Saxophonist mit zwei verschiedenen Besetzungen. Einmal mit George Colligan p,Darryl Hall b und Steve Hass dr. und dann mit Andy Milne p,James Genus b und Steve Hass dr.Die Bands improvisieren über 4 neue Titel von Ravi plus 2 von John Coltrane, 2 von Monk sowie je einen von Mingus und Jimmy Heath. Ein Höhepunkt für mich die fulminante Interpretation von "Round Midnight".
