Was uns hier Devourment abliefern klingt definitiv nicht mehr nach dem, was man von ihnen über Jahre hinweg gewohnt war. Devourment schlägt mit diesem Album eher in die Retro-Ecke. Das Ganze kommt ziemlich 90`s Death Metal-mässig daher. Das wäre an sich noch ok, wenn es nicht so uninspiriert und belanglos klingen würde. Slamparts sind leider rar gesäht und die kommen noch nicht einmal gut zur Geltung!
