    Das höre ich wirklich zum erstenmal: Das Fagott als Jazz-Instrument. Mit einem Quartett improvisiert Daniel Smith mit seinem schwer zu spielenden Blas-Instrument Themen von Monk,Charlie Parker,Horace Silver,Duke Ellington,Miles Davis,Sonny Rollins,John Coltrane,Dizzy Gillespie und Dexter Gordon. Der warme,dunkle Klang korrespondiert hervorragend mit der swingenden Rhythmus-Gruppe mit Martin Bejerano p, John Sullivan b und Ludwig Afonso dr. Aufgenommen in New York im Januar 2004.
