John Prine prägt auch auf dieser Scheibe die Songs mit seinem eigenwilligen Humor und der aufmerksamen Art, Gegenheiten und Leute zu beschreiben.

Aberwitzig kommt "Please Don't Bury Me" daher. "Christmas In Prison" eher ruhig und nachdenklich. Beide Songs, ja alle auf diesem Album, haben das schön Schräge, welches ich an John Prines Songs so schätze.
