    Jetzt ist das phänomenale, aber stets umstrittene Live Album von Thin Lizzy, als 8 CD Deluxe Bo Set erschienen. Eines der besten und fulminantesten Live Alben der Rockgeschichte, zweifelsohne. Trotzdem wurde der irländischen Band mit amerikanischem Gitarristen, immer wieder vorgeworfen, sie hätten das Album seinerzeit im Studio so überarbeitet, dass man gar nicht mehr von einer Liveaufnahme sprechen könne. Bei dieser wirklich tollen Neuausgabe, hat man nun die Möglichkeit das damals als DoLP erschienene Werk, welches aus diversen Konzerten zusammengeschnitten war, mit vollständigen Konzerten aus der gleichen Zeitspanne zu vergleichen. Da man davon ausgehen kann, dass diese weiteren Konzerte keiner grossen Studiomanipulation ausgesetzt waren, kann man getrost sagen: diese Band, in der damaligen Besetzung, war einfach der absolute Hammer. Wer auf geniale Rockmusik mit Double Leadgitarren steht, wird diese Aufnahmen lieben. Die Band um Phil Lynott war dermassen gut eingespielt, dass es auch heute noch eine Freude ist, diese Konzertaufnahmen anzuhören. Thin Lizzy forever, eine der genialsten Rockgruppen, die es je gegeben hat. Ebenfalls ganz toll, ist das beiliegende Buch mit vielen Fotos und Erinnerungsstücken aus der damaligen Zeit. Daumen hoch für dieses Box Set!

    Thin Lizzy mit Phil ist wohl eine der allerbesten Rockbands überhaupt - kein Wunder sind es doch Iren. Diese CD ist ein Muss für jede Rocksammlung!!
    Was wäre, wenn wir die Gruppe heutzutage live sehen könnten...?

    Unglaublich! Werden doch weiter oben ultraschwache Scheiben und fragwürdige Compilations von Thin Lizzy bewertet, aber diese immer noch sensationell, unglaublich, fantastische Live Platte, sorry CD, wird nicht erwähnt!
    Also hier: POWER ohne Ende!!! Zum Weinen schön!!! Göttliche Gitarrenarbeit!!! Killersongs!!! Das drückt!!! Volume auf 11!!! Phil forever!!! So, dass reicht.
