    Hier gelang Paul McCartney, obwohl nicht alle Songs brillieren, ein gutes Album.
    Im Gegensatz zu Silver finde ich "Used Be Bad" ein guter Song. Vor allem Steve Miller's Gitarre ist wirklich gut.

    Ich finde, dass dies eines seiner späteren Aufnahmen ist die am ehesten an die Beatles erinnern, oder eher wie man sich vorstellen kann, dass ein neuer Beatles song so klingen könnte wenn es noch welche gegeben hätte..zB "If you wanna" "Someday" oder "young boy".

    Das ist eine meiner CD's die ich immer wieder mal höre, alle Titel auf der CD sind gut, vorallem geeignet beim Autofahren überland.

    Jeff Lynne hat dieses Album produziert und mit dem nicht durchwegs berauschenden Material von McCartney das bestmögliche 'rausgeholt. "Little Willow" und "Somedays" sind herrliche Balladen und bestimmt die Perlen auf dieser Langspielplatte. "Young Boy" & "World Tonight" sind flotte Pop-Songs mit feschem Beat und makellosem Gitarrensound. Zum Schluss dann noch das schöne "Beautiful Night". Dazwischen aber hat Paulchen eben schon zwei, drei Durchhänger. Vorallem die Improvisationen "Used To Be Bad" und "Really Love You" kommen ideen- und farblos daher. Unter'm Strich - und vorallem verglichen mit den aktuellen Produktionen "Driving Rain" und "Chaos & Creation" - ist diese Produktion ein gelungenes und feines McCartney-Album.
