Because on this remastered edition you'll get the rare song "Ego" - his answer then to "Bohemian Rhapsody" of Queen. The sir was not amused that the single flopped and vowed, never to put it on a CD.... Apart from that: Single Man was a very good album that brought his form of the early days back...

Es gibt ja von Elton John um die 40 Alben und da ist es schwer, ein Favorit darunter zu haben, denn es gibt ja bekanntlich kein wirklich schlechtes.
Für mich ist jedoch A SINGLE MAN ein Favorit. Das Album von 1978 ist in jeder Hinsicht perfekt: Kompositionen, Arrangemente, Produktion, Sound... Ich habe irgendwo mal gelesen, dass diese Platte sogar Elton selbst zu seinen Besten zählt!
