William White celebrates 10 years solo career with his upcoming 4th studio album Open Country. The Double Album features 10 new tracks and a FREE bonus Live Album recorded at Das ZELT Winterthur in 2012.

Open Country is a collaboration between William White, Devon Bradshaw (former bassist of Burning Spear) and Ian Coleman (guitarist of Ziggy Marley). The recording of the album took place in their home studio in Portland, Jamaica. The backyard studio setting far away from the hustle of major studios on the island give the music real organic roots feel.

The new music is a mix of Roots, Soul, Funk, Pop, Jazz, Country Reggae and even going the old Mento, all packed with Williams talented song writing.
William also had the great opportunity whilst recording this album to meet a Reggae Legend at his studio in Kingston; his name cannot be revealed for now, but he will be appearing as a featured Guest on the upcoming album.

William White will be touring Switzerland and performing the new album. He will be accompanied by his 8tet, which includes 5x new members, nearly a whole new band and a new William White experience.

    War vor einigen Tagen im Casino-Theater Winterthur um William wieder mal live zu erleben.
    Er ist mit seiner Hammerband etwas vom besten was man LIVE in der Schweiz erleben kann.
    Bin seit gut 8 Jahren immer wieder überrascht was er alles produziert . Chapeau !!!
    Ich hoffe schwer, dass mit dieser Doppel-CD für William der schon längst fällige Durchbruch endlich gelingen wird. Ich wünsche es diesem sympatischen, bodenständigem und vor allem sehr kreativen Musiker von ganzem Herzen.
    See you soon im Nordportal in Baden.

    Die zwei Alben sind dä absoluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut Hammer!!!!!!! Reggae so super uf dä Punkt bracht, hani scho lang nümme ghört. Äs Album für gmüetlichi, schöni momänt im Läbe! The summer 2014 can comming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Super Album ! Du bon Reggae comme cela faisait longtemps qu'on n'en avait pas eu.
