Description

Maya and Jamie escape their urban nightmare of London to the tranquility of rural Ireland only to discover malevolent, murderous goblins lurking in the gnarled, ancient wood at the foot of their new garden. Heavily pregnant, Maya is soon targeted by the goblins and the family she befriended after forgetting to make sure the creatures are fed. Who - or what - will come to her rescue and what extremes will she go to to protect her unborn child?

Ah la la !
Comme ce fut pénible.
Ce film est vraiment terrifiant… tellement il est ennuyeux !

Pour moi, c’est vite vu : il n’y a absolument rien à sauver !!!
Mauvais acteurs, relativement mal joué. Aucun personnage n’est attachant (ce qui rend encore plus difficile le visionnage), successions de scènes ridicules, de jurons, de vulgarité, de violence gratuite.
Absolument aucune subtilité !
Film qui ne me donne pas envie d’aller en Irlande.

On a dit de ce film «Un mélange de Gremlins et de Home Invasion» ?
C’est une insulte à Gremlins (qui est le seul chef-d’œuvre de Joe Dante qui a fait beaucoup plus de films catastrophiques à jeter aussi !) et aux Home Invasion comme «Panic Room» ou encore «You’re Next» !

Grosse perte de temps !
Je ne risque pas de repasser de sitôt chez ce réalisateur : tous ses films ont l’air très nuls.
