Gnadenlos wird da verbal auf die Schwachpunkte anderer gezielt, auch die Schwachpunkte der Reichen Schicht in Kalifornien wird offengelegt, Verlust von Reichtum, Verlust von gutem Ruf usw.. Es hat aber auch versöhnliche Momente und die Frauen halten auch zusammen. Man kann sich da auch wiedererkennen in einigen Szenen. Manchmal wirken die Ereignisse etwas komisch, manchmal aber auch tragisch auf jeden Fall ist es auf die Emotionalität der Charaktere ausgerichtete Serie.
