Description

Hitman Jimmy Conlon has no choice but to shoot and kill the son of his former boss and friend Sean Maguire when his own son Michael is targeted by the mob. Das Rad lässt sich nicht immer neu erfinden, dennoch finde ich den Thriller und die Story sehr gut und alles andere als abgedroschen. Tolle Besetzung, sehr empfehlenswert!

Dieser Film erinnert an die Erwachsenenstreifenindustrie: Alles schon 100x gesehen einfach mit neuen, anderen Schauspielern. Ohne Harris und Neeson wäre es zum abschalten gewesen.

Cette troisième collaboration entre le réalisateur Jaume Collet-Serra et l'acteur Liam Neeson nous offre un polar d'action haletant et sombre. Les personnages sont profonds, les scènes d'action brutales et efficaces et l'intensité dramatique du scénario est digne d'une tragédie grecque. A tout cela s'ajoute le plaisir de retrouver en seconds rôles de bonnes vieilles trognes comme Ed Harris, Nick Nolte ou encore Bruce McGill (le Jack Dalton copain de McGyver pour rappel).

Ce film aurait pu être pas mal, mais au moment du speech sur " tu as tué mon fils, je vais tuer ton fils" le film prend une dimension qui touche la perfection, on en reste bouche bée...
