Memorial Day weekend 2004, Bay front Park Miami, Florida was the setting for this all star, all day reggae festival. Live from Miami, the 25th anniversary celebration of VP Records, is a multi-camera video presentation with performance excerpts from Morgan Heritage, Marcia Griffiths, Tanya Stephens, Sanchez, T.O.K., Beres Hammond, Elephant Man and Sizzla plus more. Titled Dancehall Riddim Driven for the relevance of dancehall riddims in the history and culture of Reggae, the DVD presents stage performances and behind the scenes action around one of the genres most exciting events. Fans may recognize portions of the footage from a recent MTV2 special although, this is the first time it is available commercially. Added features include a 38 minute documentary on VP Records’ history with intervi ews from Beenie Man, Big Youth, Marcia Griffiths, T.O.K., Shaggy and others.
