Description

After countless millennia of watching, waiting and stalking, the unholy creatures known as werewolves are poised to inherit the earth. Quatre ans plus tard, on ne reprend pas les mêmes… mais on recommence !!!

The Howling est une franchise qui compte cinq films en tout.
D’habitude, c’est les tout premiers les meilleurs… mais ici, même le premier n’est pas bien !

Il y a de nouveau des chouettes créatures et de bonnes transformations… mais il y aussi plein de femmes dénudées, sexys et du sexe. Ce qui pourrait être bien, si c’était mené avec de la subtilité et du talent artistique, mais on sent que c’est juste pour attirer plus de spectateurs sur un film relativement dénué de sens et de profondeur.
Car même si vous adorez les loups-garous, comme moi, pas sûr que vous y trouviez un réel intérêt quelconque. De plus, les acteurs sont plutôt mauvais.

Ceci dit, je ne peut pas mettre moins de deux étoiles, car il y a quand même le grand Christopher Lee, qui, lui, est toujours très bon, classe et charismatique. Mais que fait-ils donc là ? Dans le premier rôle, en plus ! C’était aussi pour ramener des spectateurs, je suppose. Marrant de penser qu’il a aussi un second rôle dans le chef-d’œuvre qu’est Gremlins 2 !

Après avoir été Dracula en personne, Christopher Lee chasse les loups-garous !
De quoi rajouter un truc à son palmarès.
Et à remonter légèrement le niveau de ce film.
