  Most people deem The Low End Theory A Tribe Called Quest' best album. Though I slightly disagree on that point (in my opinion Midnight Marauders is their best effort)I have to say that it must be ranked under the first 5 in a chart for best Hip Hop albums ever.

  1991... album number 2. The Tribe found itself in the midst of a transition where old skool gave way to new school. Fittingly they understood it to intertwine smooth Jazz beats into their rap songs. By doing so they once again remained distinctive within the Hip-Hop genre. De La Soul and Gang Starr excluded, probably no others have ever put so much emphasis on using Jazz as overt as A Tribe Called Quest did.
