A group of wealthy young people tours the coasts of Central America in a yacht. Irresponsibly, they play a joke on the captain and abandon him aboard one of the life boats, continuing on their own. During a drunken party, one of them gets hurt and they decide to get medical help on land. They don t realize they have landed in a country that is in the middle of a revolution and they are captured by the rebels. The captain is able to rescue only Amy, the daughter of the owner of the yacht, but when they return home, he is fired. The authorities are unable to gain the release of the hostages and Amy, feeling guilty and concerned over her friends, convinces the captain to form a small armed commando and return to rescue the hostages.
