This film chronicles the highs and lows of an extraordinary band, The Fuzztones, whose career spans over 40 years of Garage Rock. Formed in New York City in the early 80s, their redefining brand of Psychedelic Punk spawned an exciting new scene and it's unstoppable and charismatic leader, Rudi Protrudi still carries on his unique vision passionately across the world today. The documentary follows the band as they tour Spain in 2024 whilst telling the full story of Protrudi and The Fuzztones since their inception in 1980 until today. After more than 17 line-ups and countless records, The Fuzztones don't stop and surely won't stop. Just as Rudi proclaims in the film:"I plan on dying on stage", and judging by his demeanor and his character, that's probably how it'll happen. The film contains over 40 classic tunes. Directed by Danny Garcia (The Rise and Fall of The Clash, Looking for Johnny, Sad Vacation, STIV, Rolling Stone: Life and Death of Brian Jones, Nightclubbing), The Fuzztones Vs The World features over 30 interviewees including the band's founder and leader Rudi Protrudi, Lana Loveland, Deb O'Nair, Jayne County, Lenny Kaye, Jake Cavaliere, Mad Mike Czekaj, Elan Portnoy, Michael Jay and many other members and ex members of the legendary band.
