Get the inside story on the world`s most unique and strange shark, the Hammerhead. The hammerhead shark`s oddly shaped head has puzzled scientists for ages. There simply must be a reason for it - evolution does not create monsters for no good reason. Or does it? Whatever the hammer is for - increased aerodynamics, maneuverability, to detect prey hidden on the ocean floor or to smell in "stereo" - one thing is certain, hammerheads are highly successful and possess hunting skills that no other shark can match. In this exploration of the hammerhead, it becomes clear that it is so much more than just an oddity.
