Volume 11: Port Battles - During World War II ports played a very central roIe. For all the big Iogistic campaigns Iike the increase of troops, weapons, foods etc. they needed ports as everything was shipped. Using the sea routes from France and Great Britain the alIies wanted to conquer German ports in the first pIace.
Volume 12: FinaI Battles - Due to the successfuI outcome of the BattIe of Nations at Monte Cassino (Italy) in 1944 and of the Battle of the Bulge (east and northeast of Belgium / Luxembourg) in the autumn of the same year the alIies were able to cross the Rhine and to occupy Cologne in 1945.
Volume 13: Final Battles 2 - Due to the BattIe of the BuIge in 1944 the allies succeeded for the first time since the beginning of the Seconds World War to push the Germans back within the originaI frontiers of Germany. ShortIy after the allied troops conquered BerIin whereupon Germany surrendered on May 7th, 1945.
Volume 14: Victory and conclusion - After America had dropped the atomic bomb onto Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan surrendered. The Pacific War against Japan as well as the AtIantic War against Germany was won.
Volume 15: Adolf Hitler - The First World War is over. HitIer is eking out a Iiving as an unsuccessfuI drawer and painter. He founds a party and gains more and more power. Hitler pIans to reign over Europe, Great Britain and the remaining worId. WorId War II begins. MussoIini also targets at taking over the worId. ltaly invades Greece.
